On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.

Hi scouting families,
Our pack meeting on February 6th will celebrate the birthday of Cub Scouts, also known as National Scout Day. 🥳
National Scout Day recognizes the start of scouting on February 8, 1910. Our pack will participate in scout games and enjoy a sweet treat. Parents will receive Pinewood Derby information.
In honor of Scout Day, we are focusing on one of the scout law principles. Scouts are generous.
We are looking to support the Newtown Congregational Church's Hospitality Hall, their food pantry. If possible, please pick an item from the suggested list, but any donation is greatly appreciated!

Hello parents and scouts!! I hope everyone had a great time at the Pinewood Derby!!! We have our monthly den meeting this Wednesday, 6-7pm and will be focusing on the Chef's knife elective.
We will have some members of Troop 270 leading this adventure. In this den meeting we'll be doing the following:
Read, understand, and promise to follow the “Cub Scout Knife Safety Rules.”
Demonstrate the knife safety circle.
Demonstrate that you know how to care for and use a kitchen knife safely.
The fourth and final requirement should have heavy parent involvement as it involves slicing, dicing and mincing to create either a fruit salad or salsa.
